Retired - Carnulean Earrings

Note: Components and tools listed within this INSTRUCTIONS box and the printer-friendly PDF, if available, may have been discontinued since this project was published. Refer to the PURCHASE COMPONENTS and TOOLS AND OTHER SUPPLIES sections for current availability.

1. Remember to double all of the instructions to make both earrings. Thread a wooden bead onto a headpin. Create a simple wire loop and trim off excess wire.
2. Thread a carnelian bead and a bead cap onto and eyepin. Create a simple wire loop, trim off and save excess wire.
3. Make a simple loop at the end of the piece of wire that you trimmed off, and thread a 4mm Austrian crystal onto it. Create another simple loop and trim off excess wire.
4. Open the loop at one end of the Austrian crystal link and thread it through the ear wire loop. Close Austrian crystal loop again.
5. Open the loop at the top of the carnelian link and thread it through the loop at the bottom of the Austrian crystal link. Close the carnelian loop again.
6. Open the loop at the top of the wooden bead and thread it through the loop at the bottom of the carnelian link. Close the wooden bead loop again.
