By following the instructions below you will make one earring. Repeat all instructions to make the second earring.
- To begin, please watch our video on how to make a handmade tassel. Make a tassel using the black pearl cotton and one 6mm jump ring (I made mine slightly smaller than the one shown in the video, using fewer thread wraps). Set it aside.
- Take 2 TierraCast bone-shaped connector beads and line them up. Open a 5mm jump ring using pliers and slide it through the loops on the ends of both bone-shaped connectors, connecting them. Close the jump ring.
- Open another 5mm jump ring. Slide it through the loop on the other end of one bone-shaped connector and also slide on the 6mm jump ring at the top of your tassel. Close the jump ring.
- Take one earring hook and open the loop the same way you would open a jump ring. Slide on the loop at the top of your bone connector-and-tassel component. Close the loop.
- Enjoy your earrings!
You can use just one bone-shaped connector bead instead of two per earring to make a shorter pair of earrings.
