hi this is Alexandra with beadaholique to use the two-piece mandrel set by beadsmith you can see here there's two different sizes and they have a real nice step-up design where each section is is even in diameter for a nice coil on your wires so we've got one point five two point five three point five four point five and five millimeter and then this one steps up from six seven eight to nine and ten so you can see here I've made a few jump rings a size five millimeter and size eight millimeter and I wanted to show you how to do that with this tool using some 20 gauge vintage karel wire so I'm going to cut about a four-inch section here and you can see that my wire is kind of warped so I'm going to use my nylon nose pliers to straighten that out because when I coil the wire I'm going to want it nice and flush next to itself alright so I'm going to take this nine millimeter section right here and grip some of the wire with my thumb maybe about an inch of it and that way I can get a hold against the bottom of the step there wrap the wire around the big enough section that I probably should have cut slightly a larger portion of wire if I wanted to make more jump rings just to demonstrate I'll go ahead and clip this you can see what you end up with I'm going to take that little loose end off and then I'm going to cut right against where the end meets into the diameter of the next section trim oh my god nice big even jump ring there so this set and many more styles and sizes are available at beadaholique.com thanks for watching you
